OUR STORY

Jack; founder of Spunky Jack Coffee; as a young man in the 80’s he joined the local Volunteer Fire Dept. as a cadet at 16yrs old, he had not tried coffee before, but he noticed when his fellow fire fighters got back from a fire call they would head for the kitchen and start brewing coffee. he thought, what is all the craziness over coffee? So, he decided to give it a go and try this coffee, sugar, and creamer concoction. From that point on he was hooked…Jack described it as a kick ass energy boost with a sugar back up; the answer to all the craziness over coffee. Jack said; coffee was the best thing since sliced bread and that's what drives his passion for freshest, best tasting high quality coffee... 

What makes us different is the Freshest Coffee, we ship the bags of coffee the same day it is roasted, for optimal flavor. Coffee capsules (Keurig® compatible) are roasted the day before shipping to allow for outgassing of beans after roasting. “Taste So Good You’ll Want to Slap Yourself” Our coffee beans are sourced from local farmers and from all over the world. Also, we believe in the old ways of customer service “Care” about our customers and provide the very best quality and taste.    

Our other passion is rescue animals, so many animals are abused, neglected or surrendered everyday, we do our part here at home to support local shelters with food drives and getting the word out about adoption, so many folks have to surrender their pets because they can't afford food and care for them; the food drives help low income folks to keep their pets by providing free food; so, they don't have to do the emotionally devastating surrendering of their fur baby.
